The Compassionate Clown Company was founded in 2009 by Vanessa Hidalgo whose love for performing began nearly 25 years ago. Vanessa's passion in working with children began as a teenager when she began teaching drama and public speaking to youth.
The Compassionate Clown Company is composed of a cast of talented actors, singers and dancers who share a pasion for the arts and children. Many have graduated from universities specializing in theater. We have Theather Arts graduates from the following universities: Occiental College, Pomona College, Pitzer College, UC Riverside & The Sandford Meisner Center. Our actors have combined training in the following: IMPROV, MIME, ACTING, SINGING, DANCING, COMEDY, CLOWNING, VOICEOVER, & all around FUN.
We offer parents the choice of choosing an eco-friendly face paint, in our effort
to contribute to a healthier planet, for everyone, including the animals.
